Is 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Really Beefing: 50 Says It Was All A Ploy To Get Floyd Some Attention

Rapper 50 Cent is no stranger to beef. If he's not beefing with an
ex-lover,  it's usually an ex-friend, or label mate. 50 Cent has an extended beefing list, that includes, Ja-Rule, The Game, Jadakiss, Fat-Joe, Vivica Fox, Ciara, French Montana, and most recently, the boxer  Floyd "Money" Mayweather. Apparently, tension and beef escalated after 50 Cent made an announcement that he was no longer apart of Mayweather's money team via twitter. 50 Cent tweeted:

"I'm no longer apart or down with TMT promotions.

SMSaudio, "  Shortly afterwards, all hell broke loose; as revealed that he and Mayweather's relationship was quote on quote, "different". To make matters worse, 50 then announced that he and Mayweather's biggest rival Manny Pacquaio will join forces to form their own  boxing promotions company.  While, 50 Cent did not give explanation as to the cause of his latest shady venture. However, he did tweet:

"I move the fighters to SMSpromotion cause the other half of the money team .Didn't put up there $MONEY". To add to injury, 50 Cents decides to auction off his Money Team gear via twitter. He tweeted,

"If anyone wants a money team jacket I'm selling mine for a dollar. The [snap] back hat comes with it. That's a fare price," he wrote. "Get your TMT sweat suit NOW!! For just $7.99 on line No shipping and handling.SMSaudio."

To add fuel to the fire, Mayweather fired back, referring to 50

Cent as his groupie. and from that point the tweets get more and more heated. Check out the heated tweets below.

Now, 50 Cents is denying that the beef even exists; tweeting, "I'm sick of all this nonsense Floyd asked me to act like were fighting cause no one was paying any attention after his 60 days," Fif tweeted on Monday morning (November 5), referring to Mayweather's three-month prison sentence that ended in August. "I know some the thing we do in hip hop for shock value are wrong. He just wanted some attention Floyd is like a brother to me."

According to MTV,

50's admission comes just days after he and Money Mayweather wentback and forth over the social networking site for the world to see. "A male boxing groupie.. hold my belts because your album sales have declined," Mayweather wrote with an Instagram picture of 50 holding the boxer's championship hardware.
"F--- boy you look cute in that jacket," Mayweather wrote next with a pic of the "In the Club" MC in the same Money Team jacket which he said he'd sell for $1 earlier this week.
The barrage didn't end there. "I respect the shooter not the one who got shot," Floyd wrote in reference to the 2000 incident where the star rapper was shot nine times and then fired off another jab which read: "Hold my money F--- Boy" with a picture of 50 holding stacks of cash while the boxer hovers over him.
