Yvette Wilson (Andell From Moesha and The Parkers) Dies At 48

What Is This World Coming To? Actress Yvette Wilson has died after a four year battle with cervical cancer. Yvette was best known as the character Andell on Brandy Norwoods hit show "Moesha". Her character was so over the top that,  her role as Andell was also cast to star in comedian Monique's spinoff  of show, "The Parkers". This has come as a bit of a surprise to many of us. Hollywood has definitely suffered a great loss.  Coincidentally, Wilson's character Andell played the love interest of the late Bernie Mac's character Bernie, on "Moesha". 

According to People,

Comedian YvetteWilson, who had been battling stage 4 cervical cancer and kidney disease, died Thursday, reports NewsOne.com and other news outlets. She was 48. Wilson was best known as Andell Wilkerson on UPN'sMoesha and its spinoff,The Parkers. In addition, she appeared in the movies House Party 2, House Party 3and Friday

Wilson's Moesha costar Shar JacksonTweeted Thursday evening: "I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sisterYvette home." 

According to NewsOne, Wilsonwent to California's San Jose State University and became a regular on Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam.. Her big break came in 1993, on the short-lived ABC sitcom Thea, which, like the later Moesha, also starred Brandy Norwood.
