Speaking of a Role Model, yeah right, Soulja Boy Tell'em, has created quite a controversy with the lyrics of his latest anthem, "Lets Be Real". The song's lyrics, that concluded,"F**k the FBI and the army troops ... fighting for what? Be your own man ...
... I'll be flying through the clouds with green like I'm Peter Pan", upset quite a few people. For starter's, an ex-marine turned Commissioner For The L.A. County Veteran's Advisory Board. According to TMZ.com,"Fred A. Flores -- a retired Marine who is now a commissioner for the L.A. County Veteran’s Advisory Commission. Flores tells us, "It's a very offensive statement ... especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up."
Flores -- who has two children currently serving in the military -- calls Soulja "Ungrateful" ... adding, "He should apologize to ALL armed forces."
"[The rap] is very irresponsible," Flores stated ... "especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country." I don't understand Soldier Boys mission behind this absurd behavior, but I sincerely suggest he apologize before he risk ending his career. This was nothing short of dumb. I don't know if he was thinking clearly, some of his fans could be in the military. ijs. Apologize Soldier Boy, please.
Apparently many troops are upset with him as evident, you tube has been flooded with response video's like this one. Maybe, Soldier Boy will apologize. .SMH
